the bean

This weekend I was in Chicago for a dance audition. The one place i definitely HAD to visit was the bean. I'm always intrigued by the bean because it really does capture the whole skyline. I went when it was about noon so there was barely any shadows anywhere. The sunlight that was being reflected off the bean was so bright, if I were to see this lighting anywhere in a show, I would feel so happy. It made me feel warm, excited, and engaged in what was happening right then and there. I think this scene/photo would be a very good inspiration for a lighting cue that calls for bright, excited, and eager moods.
