space needle

This picture was taken at Chihuly Garden and glass when I visited Seattle last summer. I was surprised by all the beautiful and colorful glass artwork in that gallery. In one of the pavilion, I randomly found a very interesting way to take pictures from a upward angle, so the glass flower and the space needle can be included, and the picture above just happened. It seems like I applied filter here, but actually this is the original picture. The direct and strong sunlight from right side highlights the body of space needle and makes the outside environment looks brighter then the inside flowers, so it gives the illusion that it is the filter creates the shadow on glass flowers. Lighting is so interesting and magical.
